YET COUNTY ANIMAL PROTECTIVE SERVICES, WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THE ILLEGAL BREEDING TAKES PLACE IN OUR CITY, STOPPED HOME VISITS AND WOULD ONLY SEND OUT A LETTER WEEKS LATER AFTER WE GAVE THEM A REPORT AND IN ONE CASE, EVEN AFTER THREE REPORTS OF THE SAME ILLEGAL BREEDER SELLING PUPPIES, THE COUNTY STILL DID NOT SEND AN OFFICER TO THE RESIDENCE TO INVESTIGATE UNTIL OUR FOURTH REPORT OF THEM ILLEGAL BREEDING!!!

IN FEBRUARY OF 2023, THE ANIMAL FOUNDATION KILLED 47% MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS YEAR (WHICH WAS DOUBLE).
WE WANT AND NEED A SHELTER THAT "SAVES ANIMALS", NOT ONE THAT KILLS THEM IF THEY ARE NOT PERFECT.
