Please ONLY consider adopting if you intend to keep your rabbit(s) for their entire life/lives.
Bunnies are FOREVER PETS (life expectancy of 10+ years indoors). They can move and celebrate life’s milestones with you.

Bunnies are an “exotic” pet and are MORE EXPENSIVE THAN DOGS & CATS to vet them. They are NOT starter pets for anyone, especially children.  Bunnies should not be purchased for holidays (like Easter) or birthdays or as a GIFT unless they are present.  They require SPECIAL CARE, HOUSING AND DIET.  YOUR RABBIT SHOULD NEVER BE HOUSED IN A CAGE.

If you have allergies, please get tested first for hay and rabbit allergies if you are allergic to other animal hair.

All SINGLE bunny adoptions are $100 and bonded pairs, which we recommend, are now only $150 PER BONDED PAIR!  

Every rescued bunny costs our rescue a minimum of $200 to spay/neuter, chip and vaccinate.  Every bunny or pair of bunnies comes with a FREE bunny starter kit with everything you need to set up a safe place in your home.  So for every bonded pair we adopt out, we lose over $250 (No, bunny rescue is not profitable). We have VERY generous supporters who love what we do to save bunnies in Las Vegas and that is how we can give you healthy, vetted bunnies with a full equipment set up at only a fraction of what it would cost you to do it correctly if you bought a rabbit from a breeder or pet store.

What is in our free starter kit? 
Our kit includes an exercise pen, 1 5X7 tarp, 1 large litter box, a food bowl, a gravity waterer, rabbit food pellets, bedding pellets for your litter box, Timothy Orchard hay, nail clippers and a pet carrier and sometimes even more.

These two sweet boys were rescued as babies by a bridge at Desert Shores near the country club. Many of their friends were not as lucky as these two.

Two sweet boys were rescued as babies from a NW bunny dumpsite because they were getting picked on. Recently, they were returned due to people saying they didn’t have enough time for them.

Binky’s owner is moving out of state & new place doesn’t allow pets. The previous owner says that he is a very sweet boy.

This sweet boy is very curious and loves attention. He would make a great pet for a family. He had a friend but his friend Ivory was stolen by a foster. Looking for a forever home for this sweet boy.

This is the sweetest girl who loves life and begs for attention. This is despite huge fatty tumors and really messed-up teeth (probably from a poor diet). We saved her from euthanization and so far she is doing well. NOT FOR ADOPTION AT THIS TIME.

Bunnies can be at least a 10-YEAR COMMITMENT, so please only adopt them if you are going to love them like you would a member of your family.

To visit the bunnies at Floyd Lamb Park, from the 215, exit to 95 north to Durango Blvd, go right (NE). Follow Durango to Brent Lane (The entrance to the park is N. Durango & Brent Lane) and take a right (E). This will take you to the entrance booth. After the entrance booth ($6 a car but free for Veterans & Handicapped – Discounts for Seniors), take the first paved road right and proceed towards the white fence (there are always 2 big dumpsters on the right-hand side. Continue to drive on the road and through the white fence.  Follow the paved road about a 1/4 mile our building will be straight ahead on the right (original Cow Building). It has stalls for animals (cows or horses) in front of it. (NEXT TO THE HAY BARN)
Please do not use your GPS for Floyd Lamb Park, 9200 Tule Springs Rd as it will take you to a back area of the park.

Adoption prices are as follows:

$100 adoption fee for all single bunnies & any bonded seniors (5+ years old), and $150 for bonded pairs.  Most of our rescued bunnies have been fixed, vaccinated and chipped. All of our adoptions come with a FULL food & equipment setup (over a $150 value). Many of our bunnies are bonded and we do not separate them. We do have singles, however.  In general we believe in INDOOOR BONDED PAIRS and we do not recommend a single bunny living by themselves unless they have another companion who is around them all the time (like a cat or dog or a person). Every adoption includes the following equipment:

30 Inch High Exercise-Pen, 1 large litter box, a 25 lb bag of woody pellets for the litter boxes, a 10 lb bag of Oxbow bunny food pellets, a large bag of Timothy Orchard Mix hay, a food bowl, a gravity waterer, a tarp, a fun mat, nail clippers, a hiding box, a used pet carrier (donated to us-sometimes new) and of course, your bunnies! Just the equipment package is easily valued at over $150.00

In the event one or both of your bunnies still need to be fixed, it will be considered a “Foster to Adopt”. By current City and County ordinances, we cannot adopt a bunny that has not been fixed. You will fill out the appropriate paperwork, pay for the bunnies/equipment and we make an appointment for the spay/neuter with our vet. Until the bunny has been fixed, you may not move our bunny out of state. Once your bunny or bunnies have been fixed, you automatically gain ownership of your bunnies.
