Need to Surrender
a Rabbit?

We understand that life circumstances change. Please read our policy carefully before submitting a surrender request.

Important: Please Read Before Submitting

We are no longer taking public surrender requests unless you are surrendering bunnies that were previously adopted from us. We currently have over 70 bunnies in our care.

If your rabbit was adopted from Bunnies Matter, please fill out the form below and we will do our best to assist you.

Henderson residents: Henderson Animal Services is a no-kill shelter and we have been working with them as well. They may be able to accept your rabbit.Clark County residents: The Nevada SPCA is a no kill shelter that accepts rabbits. Please go to their website surrender page. They may be able to accept your rabbit.

All others: We encourage you to post in local Facebook groups, contact other Las Vegas area rescues, or reach out to a rabbit-savvy vet for rehoming resources.

Submit the Form

Fill out the intake form below with details about your rabbit and your situation.

We Review

A volunteer will review your request and reach out within a few days. Response times vary.

Intake Appointment

When we can accept your rabbit, we'll schedule an intake appointment at a mutually convenient time.

Transition Support

We'll guide you through the handoff and ensure your rabbit's records and history come with them.
